We work as a co-operative social enterprise, a like minded community, promoting local home grown, hand crafted, and home baked produce under the Country Market label. Our doors are open to all every Tuesday morning so why not come along and say “Hello” or join us for coffee and homemade cake at the Country Market Cafe

Directions

At Clitheroe Country Market you’ll find high quality home-grown, home-made and hand-crafted items.  Our food producers all have level two hygiene certificates and our crafters and growers and artists are passionate about their produce.

We opened in August 1969 (formerly known as the W.I. Market) , so are proud to have been a part of Clitheroe life for over 50 years. Our markets have a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and there’s no obligation to buy. Just come along for a coffee and a chat or maybe find out about how to join us!

We are a member of the Country Markets network of over 200 local markets in England, Wales and the Channel Islands. There are three Lancashire Country Markets currently operating – Clitheroe, Kirkham, and Longton.
